Our Colorectal Surgeon Team

Colorectal surgeons at the University of Chicago Medicine recognize the importance of curing disease while also preserving a patient's quality of life, including bowel and sexual function. With these goals in mind, we collaborate closely with medical specialists in digestive diseases, cancer and pelvic health to treat complex benign and malignant disorders of the colon, rectum and anus. Our colorectal surgeons use minimally invasive techniques whenever possible.

Our team includes a dedicated group of skilled support staff including physician assistants, medical assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners, as well as highly experienced enterostomal and wound care nurses to ensure a seamless experience for every patient.
