Bradford Chong, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with expertise in both benign and malignant (cancerous) pancreatic diseases. Dr. Chong delivers a comprehensive approach to managing pancreatic cysts, pancreatic neoplasms, acute and chronic pancreatitis, and pancreatic insufficiency. He coordinates multidisciplinary care that ranges from diagnostic endoscopy to endoscopic and surgical treatments. Dr. Chong has unique expertise with pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy, nutritional counseling and neuromodulator therapies. He also has experience in pancreatic cancer screening for patients at increased risk with genetic mutations or family history of pancreatic cancer. Dr. Chong focuses on providing personalized, patient-centered care to patients with pancreatic disease, with the goal of optimizing outcomes and improving quality of life.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chong’s research interests are in the early detection of pancreatic cancer, healthcare disparities in pancreatic cancer diagnosis and outcomes, and the development of novel digital solutions to improve the implementation of health services. He has presented at national conferences and published research in peer-reviewed journals, such as American Journal of Gastroenterology and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Dr. Chong is also passionate about educating residents and fellows, and serves on the American College of Gastroenterology Training Committee.
