Elevate 2035 logo

Elevate 2035 is the name of our 10-year enterprise-wide strategic plan, which supports how our organization translates our Mission, Vision & Values (MVV) into actionable steps and measurable progress.

Our strategic plan defines how all of our activities and investments align to the MVV framework and provide direction for how we can commit our resources most effectively.

Elevate 2035 comes together as the result of months of discussion and collaboration between leaders in research, education and clinical care. Through this inclusive process, we have designed a comprehensive strategic plan that integrates all of our missions.

Why is this important?

Elevate 2035 is the first strategic plan that spans the three primary parts of our organization: the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the UChicago Medicine health system. By making sure we are working toward a set of common goals, we can support our long-term success and stability as we continue to navigate industry challenges.

Aspirations

Over the next decade, our enterprise aspires to:

  • Be the eminent academic health system at the forefront of discovery, education and clinical innovation
  • Be the academic system of choice for patients, clinicians, researchers and team members
  • Provide the highest value care to all
