Rachel Wolfson, MD, is a specialist in pediatric critical care. She provides care for critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, as well as in the pediatric sedation service. Her primary clinical interests are sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
Dr. Wolfson’s non-clinical interests focus on medical school education. She is working to identify variables that impact changes in students’ intention to pursue academic careers over the course of their medical school training, with a particular interest in the impact of mentor-mentee relationships. Dr. Wolfson serves on the Summer Research Program Steering Committee, and as the leader of the national Scholarly Concentrations Collaborative. In addition, she is involved in the medical school as a member of the Admissions Committee.
