Rade Tomic, MD, is a nationally recognized pulmonologist who specializes in complex lung conditions, including end-stage lung disease and interstitial lung disease (ILD).
As a critical member of the lung transplant program, Dr. Tomic cares for patients before and after lung transplantation. He understands that every patient’s journey is unique, and he takes time to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs and lifestyle.
He also has extensive experience caring for patients with ILD—such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), pneumoconiosis and autoimmune-related ILD—and is dedicated to helping people breathe easier and live fuller lives. Whether managing an advanced lung condition or preparing for transplant, Dr. Tomic supports his patients with compassion care, clear communication and a focus on their ultimate goals.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Tomic is actively involved in research designed to advance treatments for ILD and improve outcomes for lung transplant patients. He also leads clinical trials that give patients access to promising new therapies and help shape the future of pulmonary medicine.
