
The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital offers several classes, events, and support groups. From our regularly scheduled meetings to our unique one-time classes, these programs are designed to improve the health of people in the Chicago metropolitan area.
Classes & Events
The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital Golf Classic helps improve the medical and social needs of children by providing funding to programs at the hospital that help children and their families.
Boys and girls ages 5 to 17 are invited to walk the runway for a good cause while enjoying a day of fun that includes crafts, games, hair, makeup, lunch and a dessert buffet.
The Family Birth Center offers classes — including several free classes — and support groups for new and expectant parents and families.
The event, sponsored by the Comer Development Board, includes a 5K Run/Walk, Kids’ Dash and Kids’ Mile.
Remoc's Family Safety Fair includes a variety of back to school and safety giveaways, family entertainment (including music, games, & face painters), educational activities, and many resources provided by our community partners.
The Future: Type 1 Diabetes Youth and Parent Group offers a supportive, interactive environment for any youth with Type 1 diabetes, as well as parents and caregivers.
This group meets quarterly. Membership is free. Registration is required.
